I'd predict user 32253 is a couple. OK, the stereotype: he's an electronics technician, she's looking for makeup. Or if this is one person, a cross-dressing male techician, or one female tech...

Also, an apocalyptic prognosticator. The tech is aware that tube equipment is (in theory) less likely to be fried by electromagnetic pulse (i.e. what happens in a nuclear attack). Getting ready for something?
